There was a fantastic atmosphere at this special event, which we shared with students, graduands and their families to celebrate the outstanding achievements of just some of the Management School’s students.
Among the prizes awarded this winter was the first Postgraduate Dean’s List Award presented by Professor Rachael Finn, the Dean of the Management School. We saw prizes presented to the Top Performers in each degree programme, announced by Andrea Ward, Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching; as well as the school’s memorial prizes including the Geoff Sykes Prize, Professor Josephine Maltby Prize, Fretwell-Downing Prize, and Professor Tony Lowe Prize. Our sponsored prizes were awarded from Pearn Kandola and from professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Chartered Institute of Logistics and Supply (CIPS) and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
We also celebrated this year’s Doctoral success and the contributions of our Postgraduate Student Representatives and Ambassadors.
Following a presentation ceremony and photographs, our prizewinners celebrated with their friends and families over food and drinks. This was a joyful way to recognise the wonderful achievements of our students during their time at Sheffield University Management School.
