Coinciding with National Volunteering Week (1-12 June 2016) the University of Sheffield is taking the opportunity to thank all our alumni who give their time to support the University and our students.

Sheffield University Management School is delighted to have had so many alumni involved in many of the volunteering opportunities over tha past academic year of 2015-16, and to see the positive impact this can have on students’ experience.

The University will be sharing as many alumni volunteering stories as possible from accross the Univeristy via Alumni Volunteering Storify over the week.

We’re also very pleased to announce the annual Alumni Volunteers Thank You Event will be hosted by Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Shearer West on Thursday 6 October 2016.. All alumni who have volunteered their time in the last academic year will be invited to attend, and those that can’t make it to Sheffield will have access to a live stream made possible by student media group Forge TV.
